Project Itchy Dawg – The Latest!

The Top Secret project Itchy Dawg for The Show Must Go On is coming along at a fair old lick – there is still a lot to do, but Enjah has been amazing in her work on the sets and costumes and Osprey has been her usual talented genius self in building other amazing stuff (AOs, curtains, fire stunts, etc.) and the TSMGO performers have just been so generous and enthusiastic in their support that it has made seem like a breeze.

Still… can’t say too much… hush hush and all that, mum’s the word. But here are a few snaps I’ve smuggled out of the pitbull and body-cavity-search intense TSMGO training camp…

 

Notes on a old world or two

Regular readers, apart from needing medication, will know that I’m interested in the history of this world, not just since the Linden’s opened it up to us all but before that too and I want to know about the world (or worlds) which existed here before. Well I’ve put a quick and easy starter’s guide here for you – I’ll be adding to it as more developments are uncovered.

Osprey, being The Debil, has organised a squat party in the comments section of her absent friend’s blog. I urge you with all my urging might (to the point I’ve strained something and will need help going to the toilet as I doubt I’ll be in position to lift heavy loads) to come over to here and join the party. Bring food, drink and wild animals as you see fit. Dim-but pretty Raoul is there and will no doubt be fooled into having sex with a trifle at some point. Again.

One Bloody Big Bird

So there I was, minding my own beeswax, sitting on the roof of the Eleanor Theatre when a bloody big bird landed. Fek me. That’s one really big bird…

 

Nazi Zombies? Yessireebob!

I caught this trailer for Dead Snow over at my friend’s blog – I lurve zomnie films and zombie Nazis are just so Delta Green – yum yum! I have the same thrill in my gut I had when I first heard of Bubba Hotep, Buckaroo Banzai and Evil Dead.

Let me say first that I don’t believe this is a real advert for a real product – I think some clever people are having fun (and doing it very well!) but if I’m wrong then we are fucked and we won’t need zombies to finish us off! Someone, please make them stop! Mind you, it is nice to see one of the Chuckle Brothers breaking America (unlike some I could mention…)

p.s. I’m starting to think it *is* real. Christ on a bike – why? Everything sounds like a cheesy Bontempi organ loop circa 1982. Ye gods.

Blogs I lurve: Tempietto

A while back I wrote a post about how The Baker’s blog is a must read and that gave me the idea that I should write posts about all the blogs I love so that you, dearest of dear readers, can also visit, digest and love them too. And I start with Tempitto, the wee temple from which Young Geoffrion doth spake (or sommat – I got a bit carried away there).

Young is old. I don’t mean that in a disparaging way, I mean she really is old. Hundreds of years old. Somehow, even she is not sure how, she has not only lived way past her alloted three score and ten but remained youthful and full of vigor in the process. No monkey glands were used in this process.

Her life is one of travel, escape, drama, education and wondrous theatre – from the beauty of Paris to the mysteries of China, Young has journeyed the globe in search of… well, I let you find that out for yourself
